About

This is the world through my eyes. . .
If you want to know more about me or my life, visit my blog. It contains a good deal of my photography, not to mention my writing, my existence, and my quest for survival.
As for xenogere unseen, this photoblog is intended to provide a stage upon which I can show you some of my photography that doesn’t appear on my personal blog. These images warrant a singular expression as I already said. Hopefully they’ll not disappoint.
As for me. . .
I am an aspiring novelist and a writer at heart who finds cathartic relief in every word penned, whether it be digitally or otherwise. I am an avid reader consumed with devouring the written word. I am an amateur photographer who believes a camera represents one of the greatest tools we can keep at the ready. I am a naturalist and tree hugger. I am a cat fanatic, a simple ape whose every breath hinges on the satisfaction of The Kids, six cats responsible for untold compassion and understanding and happiness, not to mention a great deal of drama, abuse, and slavery to which I subject myself just so demanding predators can remain content. I am a human who appreciates the complexities of the cosmos, the fallacies of faith, the soundness of science, the misanthropy of aware minds, and the cataclysm of politics. I am me, a simple man with complex thoughts and a complex man living a simple life, someone trying to make my way through the universe without causing too much pain to others along the way.
My life is complicated and always changing. I’m in the throws of an attempted relocation from city hell to country heaven. We’ll see how that goes.
For now, I live at White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas. This urban oasis provides me an endless supply of relaxation, for I can walk out my front door and stand at the water’s edge only a minute or two later. This wildlife refuge thrives in the middle of the city, and it currently satiates my growing hunger for a life in tune with nature, a home in rural surroundings.
Photography is a hobby. I love it, although I also admit I probably could never make a living at it. Nevertheless, having a camera with me at all times seems like nothing short of needing air to breath. The universe offers me too much to experience for me to pretend no one else need see it.
What of my photographic equipment?

While I possess an unending supply of film-based photographs that have yet to be scanned, my current endeavors in this arena are entirely digital. With GIMP 2, Corel Paint Shop Pro X2, a Dell Inspiron 6000, a Sony Vaio PCV-RX370DS, a myriad of other hardware and software resources, and more than one terabyte of storage, I’m rapidly approaching the “capable” stage of image and video management.
Next on the list: a Mac. And the accessories needed to make my cameras work with my telescope. Or a new telescope. Or whatever it takes.
